The Murray-Plains Division manages a Yahoo! Practice Nurse Email List which helps our nurses to keep in touch about relevant topics and to share information with one another. If you are a nurse within the Murray-Plains Division and haven't yet joined the List, please contact Brenda Fehring.
Plans are underway for a jam-packed education calendar for nurses in 2008/09 - this is due to some funding from GPV and extra speakers/topics GPV are providing to Divisions.
- 27th November 2008 - we will have our end of year Practice Staff Network meetings (with a Christmas theme) and speaker Lynne Walker of Walkerevans Consulting. The main topic is Evidence Based practice: What is it and where to find it?
- 5th February 2009 - LearnPRN - Triage
- 27th & 28th February 2009 - Diabetes Workshop with guest speaker Dr Ralph Audhem
- 20th & 21st March 2009 - Practice Staff Weekend in Shepparton
- 19th & 20th June 2009 - Dr Rick Kaufman's "if not dieting, then what?"
